	As a corporate body, we believe that our future plans depend on our present safety. IMC Limited, therefore, conducts its business in such a way that the health and safety of its employees, its equipment and those that may be associated with it in the course of carrying out its business are safeguarded and due regard is paid to the community and the protection of the environment in which we operate. This policy accepts the requirement of our principals and the relevant regulations that have to be complied with as a minimum. We have, therefore, set very high standards in quality of services that we provide, and to achieve these, we must have a sound CASHES standard that will enhance efficiency. The company considers all CASHES matters as a collective responsibility of its entire staff. Accordingly, the company enjoins all its employees to consider CASHES as part of their daily duties for which they are accountable. To this end, the company will provide training to all category of staff on CASHES, motivate them, and encourage their participation and contribution as individuals. The company believes that all accidents are preventable and will therefore in addition to creating CASHES awareness provide requisite tools for the safe conduct of our business. The company will carry out safety inspections, audit and such other programmes necessary to establish adequate CASHES awareness on a continuous and suitable basis for the purpose of eliminating hazards and unsafe practices in all our work environments. EMERGENCY RESPONSE POLICY The response to any emergency in IMC Limited will be directed towards: � Saving Limes and preserving the sanctity of life � Care for the injured � Protection and improvement of the environment � Limitation of damage to assets � Defence of IMC Limited�s good corporate image. IMC Limited shall provide the appropriate organization, facilities, procedures and training within its limitations such that immediate action can be taken to manage the situation arising from the above. Maintenance of emergency equipment shall receive prompt attention. Close liaison will be maintained with appropriate government and industrial organizations and communities. Regular drills will be carried out to confirm effectiveness and readiness and necessary improvements made promptly at all times.
